Job Summary

Richards Building Supply is seeking a skilled CDL Class B Truck Driver to join our team in Decatur, IL. As a CDL Class B Driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to job sites and physically unloading material per customer requests. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to job sites and unload material per customer requests
  • Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory
  • Move materials and items from receiving to designated areas
  • Operate manual transmission trucks and equipment
  • Meet safety and regulatory requirements, including DOT regulations
Requirements
  • CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver's license
  • 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Current DOT medical card and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
