Join Our Team as a Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Point Quest Therapeutic Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work collaboratively with school districts to provide high-quality speech and language services to students.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position for the school year, and you will be working in the Southwest Dallas Metro Area. You will be responsible for planning and providing individual, group, and classroom-based therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders. You will also conduct independent evaluations to assess students and develop clinical management strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and provide therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Conduct independent evaluations to assess students and develop clinical management strategies
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other interdisciplinary team members to plan and implement classroom activities
  • Provide professional development in assigned schools to help school personnel identify and understand communication deficits in students
  • Participate in in-service education and team conferences
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents about the student's therapy goals and educational needs
Requirements:
  • Current, active TX state license as a Speech Language Pathologist, or be eligible for licensure
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance
  • Computer-literate; knowledge of standard company software applications, internet
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient language and communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manners
