Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team on a limited-term basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support in a fast-paced acute setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients, including direct care, patient education, and transitions of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers through effective communication.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to ensure an optimal patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • RN-Registered Nurse licensure for the state where care is provided.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated general knowledge and competence in nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, and best practices regarding patient care and privacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally.
  • Time management and organizational skills to prioritize patient care, assignments, and work within standardized policies and procedures.
Working Conditions

This position may regularly work with hazardous or potentially hazardous drugs identified by NIOSH for purposes of USP 800.

This position is non-exempt and requires a 40-hour workweek. The pay range is $69.56 to $92.59 per hour, with the possibility of adjustments based on location.
