At Cross Country Nurses, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Operating Room First Assistant. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide critical support to surgeons during operations, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities:- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling surgical instruments with precision.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
- Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns.
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in a specialty.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail during prolonged surgical procedures.
