Job Title: Anatomic Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anatomic Pathologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. As a key member of our Pathology department, you will be responsible for diagnostic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens, biopsies, and frozen sections.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic evaluation of surgical pathology specimens, biopsies, and frozen sections
  • Attending conferences and tumor board
  • Sign out of autopsies
  • Provide on-call coverage for frozen sections
Qualifications:
  • Board certified by American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP
  • Must qualify for New York State Medical License at the time of proposed employment
  • Must possess a valid updated certificate of qualification from the New York State Department of Health for the laboratory sections or eligible to receive this certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Salary:

Board Eligible: $226,000 Board Certified: $230,000 (Productivity Bonus)
