Are you looking for a challenging role in the financial industry? Do you want to work with a leading global bank? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GCIB Analyst to join our team in downtown Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the management of major client relationships by providing financial analysis, marketing and operational support to Global Relationship Managers.
- Conduct due diligence related to prospective and existing clients, reviewing new business opportunities and preparing materials for senior management approval.
- Develop client marketing presentations and pitch materials under the direction of the GRM(s), maintaining the Salesforce Database and coordinating transaction closings with back and middle offices.
- Attend client meetings and assist with client relationship management interactions, preparing call reports after meetings.
- Undertake detailed financial analysis and transaction diligence, including reviewing financial statements and preparing financial projections.
- Prepare credit applications, including summaries of expected financial results and risk analysis for submission to risk and control functions.
- Review and analyze transaction term sheets and documentation with a focus on understanding credit features and covenants in financing documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, with banking or related experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality, clear and concise presentations and memoranda.
- Proactive, resourceful self-starter capable of rapidly learning new systems and processes.
