Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to lead our Brain Injury Program at River Ridge Center - Kennebunk, ME. As the Program Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our program, providing clinical expertise, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs for therapy and nursing staff on the behavioral, emotional, and cognitive implications of acquired brain injury.
  • Consult with therapy and nursing staff to coordinate inpatient and outpatient neuropsychological treatment.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to report on patient/resident's neuropsychological status.
  • Represent the Brain Injury program in external marketing and educational opportunities to promote our center's reputation as a regional center of excellence for brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with our medical director and Vice President of Medical Affairs to provide clinical expertise to our staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in the survey process.
  • Monitor the utilization and quality outcomes achieved by the Brain Injury program.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of direct experience working with patients with brain injuries.
  • State licensure as a licensed Clinical Psychologist.
