Job Responsibilities

As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities, adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests, and assessing students' skills and determining their educational needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
