Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our team at the Butler County Family YMCA Early Learning Center. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing the curriculum and daily lesson plans to ensure a engaging and educational experience for our students.
  • Supervise and care for children, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to child development.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized classroom environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience working with children preferred.
  • CPR/Pediatric First Aid/AED Certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
