Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position, working 40 hours per week, with 8-hour evening shifts. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the IR team, performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
  • Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, monitor patient response, and maintain a sterile field.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Requirements
  • Current license in good standing.
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
  • Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
