Froedtert Health is seeking a skilled OB Technician to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of the obstetric department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with tasks related to patient hygiene, nutrition, and mobility, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
- Perform routine duties, including organization of the environment, maintenance of equipment, and clerical support.
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant or Surgical Technologist Program preferred.
- State of Wisconsin licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Nursing Assistant Certification, or completion of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant or Surgical Technologist Program required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required.
