About the Role

Evara Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Residency Program Director to lead our dental residency program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and coordinating the program to ensure our dental residents receive the highest standard of training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive program plan, integrating educational milestones and professional activities.
  • Program Oversight: Conduct the program, including rotation of residents to ensure advancement according with educational plan.
  • Annual Review: Annual review and assessment of the program to ensure quality and efficacy.
  • Candidate Selection: Selection of candidates for admission, performance assessments, and career planning for residents.
  • Faculty Supervision: Supervision and evaluation of faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and program policies.
  • Reporting: Gathering and reporting complete and accurate information as requested by the accrediting, licensure, certification, and funding agencies.
  • Resident Supervision: Direct supervision of dental residents and dental faculty.
Requirements
  • Clinical and Interpersonal Skills: Strong clinical and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively with both practitioners and administration.
  • General Dental Practice: Proficient in general dental practice and medical terminology.
  • Managerial Skills: Superior managerial skills for supervising and evaluating resident performance.
  • License to Practice: Valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Florida.
  • Advanced Education: Graduation from an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program.
  • DEA Certificate: DEA certificate.
