Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior living communities.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads and leadership to develop and monitor financial plans.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Audit & Risk Management: Liaise with external auditors and prepare documentation to support annual audits.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Experience: 5-7 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role within senior living, healthcare, or a related industry.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and senior living financial practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Aline, Eldermark, Point-Click-Care, Acumatica) and advanced Excel skills.
