Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide direct patient care to individuals with emotional or psychiatric disorders. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring activities and progress, and communicating information to the treatment team.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, family members, and referral sources to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Co-facilitate educational and community groups within the treatment program to promote patient engagement and empowerment.
- Encourage and facilitate patients' participation in therapeutic activities to support their recovery journey.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to work well in crisis situations.
- Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
