About the RoleThis is a full-time position that involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children. The successful candidate will implement SLP therapy treatment, serve as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team, and facilitate goals and objectives per child's educational plan.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Implement SLP therapy treatment for speech and/or language impairments or delays.
- Serve as a member of the IEP Team for students with speech and/or language concerns.
- Facilitate goals and objectives per child's educational plan.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students.
- Perform other SLP duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification.
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations.
