WITRON Service America is seeking an Automated Systems Maintenance Technician
Are you an experienced maintenance technician skilled in the upkeep of sophisticated automated material handling systems? We are in search of a committed individual who emphasizes safety, aims to enhance system efficiency, and is proficient in both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.

As an Automated Systems Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Prioritizing safety in all tasks and interactions, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
- Improving system efficiency and reducing downtime through proactive maintenance efforts.
- Conducting a variety of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal oversight.
- Supporting the production team with basic troubleshooting, coaching, and fault resolution.
- Assisting in the installation of new components or refurbishing existing system elements.
- Promoting continuous improvement initiatives through in-depth system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in industrial technology or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role is required; five (5) years or more is preferred.
- Strong expertise in electrical systems (3-Phase, 480V, DC, and 24V controls) and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with drive technology (motors/gears) and control technology (PLC/controls/inverters).
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and utilize electrical measuring techniques.
- Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary monitoring software.
- Experience in maintaining material handling systems in a light industrial or distribution center setting is highly desirable.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing.
- Ability to work at heights while utilizing fall-arrest gear and other personal protective equipment.
- Capability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
