Role Overview:
The primary responsibility is to maintain the property of Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club in a pristine and professional condition.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • Capability to fulfill the physical demands of the position
  • Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shifts
  • Capacity to lift and/or push items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in using both manual and powered landscaping tools
  • Adaptability to varying indoor and outdoor temperatures
  • Repetitive motion tasks
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English

Key Duties:
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and order of the property
  • Perform general upkeep tasks such as changing light bulbs, removing debris, watering plants, and managing waste
  • Organize and clean indoor and outdoor furnishings and equipment
  • Operate tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring proper care and maintenance
  • Clear swimming areas of debris and maintain cleanliness around docks
  • Manage outdoor spaces including porches, walkways, and patios
  • Water and tend to plants, gardens, and lawns
  • Assist with deliveries and inventory management
  • Display appropriate flags as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness in locker rooms and dining areas
  • Collaborate with team members and follow instructions
  • Complete any additional tasks as requested
