Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietetic Technician to join their dynamic team at UT Health Tyler in Tyler, TX. As a key member of the Clinical Nutrition program, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients with diverse ages and disease states.
- Utilize the nutrition care process and electronic medical records charting to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Patient Satisfaction projects to drive quality and excellence in patient care.
- Engage in physician and multidisciplinary team rounding on patient care units to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Registered Dietetic Technician, licensed in Texas or in progress of obtaining within the next 30 days.
- Experience in utilizing the nutrition care process, electronic medical records charting, and conducting nutrition care and patient assessments.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
- Ability to work well in a high-energy and demanding environment, with flexibility and adaptability to a changing patient population.
