Inventory Control Manager

Bloom Energy is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in-office role that will report to Senior Manager, Global MRP Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage company-wide inventory controls to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Lead recurring inventory review meetings with inventory owners to discuss control and optimization of inventory, and work with them to complete inventory analysis and action plans.
  • Develop data-driven inventory thresholds by sub-inventory, including aged inventory (static vs. dynamic), and implement automated mechanisms to track and report inventory metrics.
  • Develop phased program plans with milestones and deliverables for achievement of inventory program objectives, and reduce existing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Assess process and system gaps to formulate business requirement documents to drive system enhancements/automation, and work closely with IT to develop and implement automated inventory optimization solutions.
  • Participate in and support Supply Chain initiative programs, including Cycle Count, Physical Inventory, and Oracle MRP enhancements.
  • Manage MRP controls around inventory management related to attributes, locators, sub-inventory, and Item Master, and help manage Global Forecasting connected to inventory optimization and S&D management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.
  • 4+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience.
  • 4+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • 3+ years of leading large complex programs experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.
  • 5+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP certification preferred.
