Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with emergency cases, providing stabilization support and administering medications as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records, communicating effectively with doctors and staff
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to strict safety protocols
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant
- Knowledge of animal behavior, physiology, and anatomy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic computer skills
