We are offering a rewarding position for a Hospitalist in a scenic region known for its beautiful Allegheny Mountains. This role is part of a dedicated team consisting of 25 physicians and over 15 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who focus on delivering exceptional inpatient care.
Key Features of the Position:
- Employment Type: Hospital Employee
- Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off, with 12-hour shifts
- Patient Load: Average census of 16-18 adult inpatients per day
- Support Services: Collaboration with medical and surgical specialists, along with an Intensivist service and Primary Care physicians
- Compensation: Competitive Salary or Income Guarantee, with WRVU production incentives
- Additional Benefits: Signing Bonus, Relocation Bonus, CME time and funding, and a 403B retirement plan
This position is focused on inpatient care, with no responsibilities for obstetrics or pediatrics, and no procedures required. Night shifts are managed by nocturnists, ensuring that daytime physicians can concentrate on their patients. The Intensivist Service is responsible for ICU coverage, allowing for a comprehensive support system.
