Position Overview:
Are you looking for a role as a Substitute Educator at Guidepost Montessori? We are continuously seeking adaptable substitute guides to enrich our vibrant educational environment.
Role Responsibilities:
This position involves assisting in various mixed-age Montessori classrooms. No prior Montessori experience is required; we will offer comprehensive training during your orientation and onboarding process.
This is an on-demand role where you will be contacted as needed to provide coverage for full-time educators who are unavailable due to illness or vacation.
The Substitute Educator position serves as an excellent pathway into Guidepost Montessori. Many of our substitutes eventually transition into full-time Assistant Educators when new positions arise. If you have a passion for working with children and are seeking the right opportunity to become part of our educational community, we encourage you to consider this role.
Work Schedule:
Hours and days of work will vary according to the school's requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Negative TB test conducted within the last year
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Valid state background check
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Preferred qualifications include ECE units or recent experience teaching children aged 0-6
