Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Processing Technician for a travel position. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures through the proper handling and sterilization of medical instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Utilize SPM tracking and VPRO systems effectively.
Qualifications:
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either CBSPD or IAHCSMM.
- Experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, Neurosurgery, Endoscopy, and Spine procedures is required.
- Previous travel experience in a similar role is preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Shifts may vary between days and evenings, with a standard 40-hour work week.
