Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for setting up and taking down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You will also be responsible for refilling coffee and beverages, cleaning up used plates and utensils, and providing attentive service to guests in the dining area.

Responsibilities:
  • Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures
  • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
  • Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
  • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service
  • Provide attentive service to guests in the dining area by taking orders, and serving food and drinks
Requirements:
  • Experience working in food service is preferred
  • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
