About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tajik linguist to join our team at Leidos. As a linguist, you will be responsible for processing materials and participating in situations requiring general professional capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately translate reports and texts in electronic and hard-copy formats, capturing intended implications and nuances.
- General capture of geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural elements in text.
- Interpret accurately, with a good understanding of one or more regional dialects.
- Review audio or internet materials and transcribe with a high degree of accuracy and expression.
Requirements:
- BA/BS and/or equivalent formal military training and 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- All candidates must take and pass a language test administered by LEIDOS/an accepted commercial testing vendor.
- TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
- Attending and passing all sponsor related training is a requirement of employment.
