**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Installation Specialist to join our team. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining laundry equipment in apartment complexes, condominium complexes, and customer homes. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Load and unload laundry equipment onto and off trucks using a hand truck and lift gate.
- Secure laundry equipment with pads and straps to prevent damage during transport.
- Prepare equipment for installation, including connecting and disconnecting fill and drain hoses from washers and dryers.
- Connect exhaust vents and gas lines to dryers, and perform minor plumbing and electrical work.
- Clean floors around equipment, remove lint from floor drains, and lubricate washers and dryers.
- Change worn belts, defective or jammed coin slides, and pick up worn parts from the area garage.
- Deliver rebuilt parts to the area garage and report necessary work to be done by skilled service technicians.
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good driving record.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Mathematical aptitude helpful.
- Effective English communication skills (oral and written).
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools (willing to train right candidate).
- Some mechanical experience desirable.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.
**What We Offer**
We offer a competitive salary range of $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below this range based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.
