Position Overview:

Soliant is looking for a committed and empathetic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a school environment. The SLP will engage with students, providing essential evaluations, therapy, and interventions aimed at assisting those with communication challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations to determine speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Create and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) customized to meet each student's unique requirements.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other staff to promote students' overall growth.
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents on effective communication strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
  • Preferred experience in a school environment working with children.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to design and implement successful therapy strategies.
