The CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting a range of standard and advanced imaging procedures utilizing state-of-the-art CT technology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various imaging and diagnostic tasks with advanced CT equipment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in initiating and maintaining intravenous (IV) access using high-speed, pressurized injection systems.
- Assess patients for clinical contrast history to identify any contraindications.
- Assist Radiologists during invasive and biopsy procedures by accurately locating anatomical sites using CT imaging.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked prior to patient examinations.
- Adhere to Infection Control standards and protocols.
- Ensure accurate coding and entry of all charges associated with procedures.
Adapt assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet the diverse physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of each patient.
ConfidentialityConduct all duties in a manner that safeguards patient confidentiality, refraining from disclosing any confidential information unless necessary for job performance.
Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Comfortable working in an emergency room setting.
- Travel experience is required.
- Current TX MRT Licensure and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.
- BLS certification (AHA only).
Shift: 7 AM - 8:30 PM, Friday to Sunday. Orientation will be conducted during daytime hours, commencing on a Monday. Length of assignment: 12 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 39 hours per week with overtime opportunities available after 40 hours.
