Abrazo Scottsdale Campus is seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals and participate in hourly rounding.
  • Observe safety guidelines and safe work practices, and may be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
  • Supervise other members of the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree.
  • Experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
  • Specialized training in bariatrics or wound care.
