Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure the safe and effective management of medications, including patient counseling and education.
  • Pharmacy Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, personnel management, and workflow optimization.
  • Customer Service and Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of pharmacy technicians and support staff, providing guidance and training to ensure their success.
  • Business Development and Growth: Identify opportunities for business growth and development, working with cross-functional teams to implement strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree, with active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy operations, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Additional Requirements: Immunization certification through an accredited organization, free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
