Cardiovascular Sonographer Role

This position plays a vital role in performing critical cardiovascular diagnostic exams while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular and vascular ultrasound exams, with the ability to prepare and submit preliminary reports to physicians, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiovascular ultrasound exams based on physician orders and department protocols.
  • Promptly communicate urgent findings to cardiologists and referring physicians as per departmental guidelines.
  • Keep up-to-date with required certifications and participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of practical training or completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • RDCS, RCS, RVT, or RVS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
  • CPR Certification: Must be current.
