Support Specialist for Community Services

We are currently seeking a qualified Direct Support Professional to join our team, working directly with individuals in their homes and communities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, while building a rewarding career in the field of special education and support services.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting individuals in developing and maintaining skills to improve their daily living and social skills. This may include engaging in activities with individuals, such as cooking, cleaning, and participating in community events. You will also maintain annual 24-hour training requirements and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you must be compassionate, willing to care for the well-being of others, and possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. A minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required, along with a valid Driver's License and existing insurance. Flexibility is preferred to allow for individual assignments.
BenefitsThis is an Independent Contracting position, classified and compensated as self-employed. Professionals contracting through Kaleidoscope Family Solutions are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and experience. Compensation is processed weekly, providing a stable financial foundation for our team members.
