Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $22.70 - $38.94 per hour, based on average productivity by region. Our performance-based compensation model, flat-rate pay, rewards our skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task.

About the Job

This exciting opportunity requires your expertise in diagnosing drivability and electrical systems. You'll lead a team towards increased customer care and satisfaction while mentoring and training technicians to perform technical activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, covering brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A valid automobile driver's license at all times.
  • A minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five).
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
