Senior Recreation Therapist

Kintegra Health seeks a dedicated and compassionate Senior Recreation Therapist to join our team.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to conduct initial assessments, scheduled reassessments, and develop therapeutic small group activities for our participants.

The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Recreation Therapy and at least 1 year of experience in social or recreational programs providing services for a frail elderly population.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and communicating participant changes to team members.
• Developing and implementing specific programs/groups as part of the plan of care for therapeutic recreational activities.
• Participating as a member of the IDT/Care Team, attending staff meetings, and taking part in participant care planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A BS degree in Recreation Therapy.
• At least 1 year of experience in social or recreational programs providing services for a frail elderly population.
• Licensed Recreational Therapist in NC.
• Good understanding of psychosocial problems of aging and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
