As a Modelica simulation expert at Horizon Technologies, you will be responsible for working on complex simulation projects in our service department or taking on modeling and development tasks in research projects. You can find current projects on our website under the research section.

Your tasks will include analyzing and evaluating simulation results, as well as documenting your work in reports and presentations. Regular communication with our clients will be necessary, requiring fluency in both German and English. You may also have the opportunity to participate in conferences and publish your work as part of research projects.

We are looking for experienced engineers, preferably with a PhD, in the fields of mechanical engineering, general engineering, energy and environmental engineering, or process engineering. You should have extensive practical experience using simulation programs for thermal systems. With a strong technical understanding and imagination, you will be able to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and confidently represent them to clients.
