Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: BLS
- Specialty: RN
- Unit Overview: 4Tower
- Equipment Utilized: Bladder Scanner, computers in rooms, vein finder
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Patient Experience: Experience with adult acute care (med/surg) patients is essential.
- Procedures Conducted: Medication administration, tube feedings (NG & PEG), wound care, line care.
- Essential Credentials: RN
- Desired Skill Set: RN with experience in adult acute care settings.
- Scheduling Expectations: 2 major & 1 minor holiday, 2 weekends within a 4-week schedule.
- Floating Policy: Will float before core staff.
- Bed Capacity: 24
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Staffing Description: Minimum of 1 tech available each shift, unit secretaries as available.
- Dress Code: Black, gray, navy blue.
- This newly established unit focuses on providing care to adult patients with renal disease (CKD & ESRD). Our dialysis suite is conveniently located on the same floor, and we offer 6 nights a week resource nurse coverage for assistance. Additionally, tech support is available for each shift.
