We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Audio Engineer to join our team at Victory Church. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality of audio mix for all live and broadcast environments, as well as managing and maintaining audio equipment across all environments and campuses.
Key Responsibilities- Audio Mixing and Sound Design: Serve as the primary live mix engineer for major events and services, and execute the vision of the Lead Pastors and Production Director through audio mixing and sound design.
- Audio Equipment Management: Manage and maintain audio equipment across all environments and campuses, including PA systems, consoles, and other audio-related equipment.
- Training and Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and teaching within the organization regarding all things audio engineering, and train and advise junior engineers as they grow to the standard of excellence required.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Identify audio needs and resolve problems quickly, and proactively communicate with the team and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of audio-related tasks.
- Experience and Skills: 3+ years of live mixing experience in large rooms with full band and vocals, intimate knowledge of PA deployment and DSP, and experience with musical-style productions.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering or related field, and certifications in audio-related software and equipment.
- Personal Qualities: Solution-minded, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to adjust mix to match Victory's sound identity.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds individually, standing, sitting, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and navigating tight spaces and heights.
- Ministry Requirements: Maintains Victory protocol, policies, and procedures, demonstrates integrity, and performs tasks with an appropriate level of confidentiality.
