Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Physician to join our team as a locum provider. The ideal candidate will have experience in ERCP/EUS procedures and be able to work collaboratively with our practice manager to schedule advanced procedures efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality Gastroenterology services, focusing on both in-patient and outpatient care.
- Cover call shifts for hospital GI emergencies, including performing necessary ERCP procedures.
- Work closely with the practice manager to optimize scheduling and workflow.
- Ensure accurate booking of outpatient procedures, requiring pre-procedure office visits with designated providers.
- Maintain effective communication with support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Utilize the Meditech EMR system, with a transition to Expanse soon.
- Provide initial coverage for 90 days, with a frequency of 21 to 24 days a month, primarily focused on weekend coverage.
