JOB SUMMARY

The Facilities Porter and Groundskeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our properties. Reporting directly to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, this position is essential for ensuring that vacant apartments are ready for new tenants and that the overall property remains in excellent condition.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive assignments for make-ready tasks and assemble necessary tools and materials.
  • Conduct thorough cleanouts of units to prepare them for new occupancy, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
  • Assess and maintain flooring, appliances, and other essential fixtures.
  • Execute minor repairs and general maintenance duties as required.
  • Perform interior painting, light exterior painting, and additional maintenance responsibilities.
  • Oversee pool maintenance, landscaping, and general grounds upkeep.
  • Adhere to safe work practices and uphold the company’s professional image.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Experience in make-ready processes within residential settings.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscaping tasks.
  • Capability to engage in physical labor and execute basic repairs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
