About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Awake Overnight Residential Counselor to join our team at Vinfen. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
  • Implement treatment plans and assist individuals with activities of daily living
  • Perform nightly cleaning and filing duties
  • Work collaboratively with individuals, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to promote independence and improve quality of life

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred
  • Strong time management and writing skills
  • Ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment
