  • Participate in Nursing Assessments and Care Planning: Participate in nursing assessments, care planning, and evaluate nursing interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Facilitate Outside Physician Visits: Facilitate outside physician visits to meet the medical needs of our residents.
  • Administer and Document Medications and Treatments: Administer and document medications and treatments, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Supervise Resident Assistants: Serve as the primary contact on assigned shifts, supervising resident assistants and ensuring they are providing the highest level of care.
  • Engage in Quality Management: Engage in our Quality Management program to maintain high standards of care and ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education and Licensure: Education commensurate with licensure requirements and an active, unencumbered LPN license in South Dakota, or temporary permit to practice in the state.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of medications, side effects, and infection control practices, as well as strong communication and supervisory skills.
