As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. Your attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our facilities.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of floors to identify problems and report them to supervisors.
- Maintain work equipment in good working condition to ensure efficient performance.
- Perform maintenance repairs in common areas, including drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other general repairs.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform casual labor as directed by supervisors, including moving heavy items and other tasks.
- Perform maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs, as long as a permit is not required.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are necessary for this role.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong maintenance and repair skills, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electricity.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods.
- Ability to work extended and flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans. You will also be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required for training and other company functions.
Compensation: $24.00 per hour
