Job Summary:The U.S. Army is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Technician to join our team. As a Welder Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising and performing the fabrication, repair, and modification of metallic and nonmetallic parts. You will operate various machine shop equipment, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and oxyacetylene welding machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, repair, and modify metallic and nonmetallic parts using various machine shop equipment.
- Operate engine lathes, utility grinders, power cutoff saws, hydraulic presses, drill presses, and oxyacetylene welding machines.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
