Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Opportunity

Altru Health System, a community-owned, integrated healthcare system, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist to join its team in Grand Forks, ND.

About the Role

Evaluate and treat patients with cardiac rhythm disorders, utilizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with cardiac rhythm disorders, including arrhythmias and conduction abnormalities
  • Perform electrophysiology studies and procedures, including catheter ablation and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and device therapy
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
