Improve Autism Therapy Outcomes as a Clinical Rbt Trainer

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical RBT Trainer to join our team at Soar Autism Center in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Clinical RBT Trainer, you will play a crucial role in the growth and development of new trainees at one to two local centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs
  • Collaborate with 3-4 case supervisors to enhance their clinical and decision-making skills
  • Provide 20 weekly hours of billable supervision focused on providing guidance to trainees during their first 4 weeks at Soar, and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam
  • Host bi-weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees at their home center
  • Build trainees' skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence-based teaching strategies
  • Organize and host quarterly, center-level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs (attendance optional)
  • Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director regarding RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives
  • Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present
  • Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical RBT Trainer

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience as Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • ABA early intervention experience
  • A mission-driven nature focused on care quality for kids
  • Strong desire to work with clients ages 2-6
  • Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets
