We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighter Paramedic to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire prevention, suppression, and emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fire prevention, fire suppression, and hazardous material incident response duties to protect life and property.
  • Provide emergency medical assistance and rescue services to the public.
  • Conduct fire safety inspections, install smoke detectors, and participate in public education standbys.
  • Operate various pieces of fire equipment and gear for fire suppression and control.
  • Respond to emergency medical calls, evaluate situations, and transfer patients to medical facilities.

Requirements:

  • IL certified BOF
  • IL State issued EMT-P / Paramedic
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Must possess IDPH EMT-/P license
  • Illinois certified BOF
  • AHA CPR card
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Successful background investigations with MVR, & criminal records
  • Physical fitness/agility
  • Drug/alcohol screening
