The Pearl at Five Forks is seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join their culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food to meet the highest quality and quantity standards. This includes managing food production, adhering to sanitary procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food items using approved recipes and production sheets
  • Monitor food temperatures and quality to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and utensils
  • Adhere to posted menus and special dietary needs
  • Organize work to meet production and service requirements
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to ensure seamless kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
  • One year of job-related experience, including food preparation and therapeutic diets
  • Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to participate in food services sanitation training
