Pediatrician - Suburban Charlotte

At US Pediatric Partners, we are dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric care to our patients and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team in Suburban Charlotte.
Job Purpose:As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare to children, from newborns to adolescents. Your primary goal will be to establish trust with patients and their families, facilitating professional medical relationships focused on maintaining good health and effectively treating and preventing diseases and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnosis and Treatment: Develop an informed diagnosis based on technical knowledge and the child's medical history, and perform thorough examinations to monitor and record their health and physical development.
- Medical Care: Diagnose a sick child's medical condition by performing a thorough examination together with learning of symptoms through in-depth questioning, and assess and treat injuries as needed.
- Health Education: Inform parents on children's diet, exercise, and disease preventive measures, and recommend and interpret appropriate lab tests results to identify potential infections and/or defects.
- Medication and Vaccination: Prescribe and provide clear instructions for the use of medications, and dispense vaccines in accordance with applicable governmental guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain updated confidential records of children's illnesses, surgeries, and other medical events.
- Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with pediatric medical advancements and best practices.
Hold an active South Carolina license to practice medicine with a specialty in Pediatrics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Comprehensive Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of children's epidemiology and infectious diseases.
- Diagnostic and Treatment Skills: Highly skilled in the application of diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation principles and techniques.
- Medication Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of drugs/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects.
- Technical Skills: Experienced in traditional and web-based prescription systems.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrates active listening skills, ability to diagnose and problem-solve, and superbly adept in communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
