Position Overview:
ANSER is in search of a Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (C-WMD) Analyst to provide analytical support for initiatives within the Pentagon.

Key Responsibilities:
The analyst will engage in policy-related evaluations and provide support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Policy. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the formulation, coordination, and oversight of regional or cross-cutting strategies, policies, and international agreements aimed at mitigating the threats posed by the proliferation and disposal of WMD-related materials and delivery systems.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (5 years preferred) in threat assessment, implementation of initiatives, and political-military considerations across various geographic areas, alongside the issuance of strategic guidance related to threat reduction.
  • A Master's degree in a recognized social science or a scientific, technical, management, or related field that supports the C-WMD mission, such as microbiology, chemistry, foreign affairs, political science, or international relations.
  • Possession of a TS (SCI eligible) security clearance is required.
