We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ramp Service Agent to join our team at Alaska Airlines. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload luggage and cargo from aircraft using conveyor belts or forklifts.
  • Transportation: Transport luggage and cargo to various airport locations.
  • Ramp Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the ramp and warehouse areas.
  • Aircraft Marshaling: Marshal and push back aircraft to ensure safe and efficient departure.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid unexpired driver's license issued by a US state, a US territory, or the District of Columbia.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with others.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a frequent basis and perform other physically demanding tasks.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to performing work according to set procedures and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate in English and learn quickly to understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Age and Authorization: Minimum age of 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industrial Equipment Experience: Knowledge of operations with industrial equipment and previous experience.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Pay: Starting rate of USD $21.43/Hr.
  • Bonus: Bonus available to external applicants only, with a total of USD $1,000.
